Chinook Indian Nation Youth and the Inter-Tribal Canoe Journey

Chinook youth are being raised with the culture and high expectations associated with Tribal Journeys. They look forward to the trip which means hard work, singing, dancing, camping out, long days in the canoe and long nights in protocol. It is not uncommon for three and even four generations of a family to travel together during this important annual event.
